Many things have changed in the automotive scene since then. How I wish he would have been around to witness the improvement but then again we all have to agree with the other comments in this article: God has the best plan.
Even I never met him in person, but the connection over automotive safety and emissions is strong. My tears aren’t stopping as I hope and pray that he continues to be in a better place than ever and that his publications continue to serve as a sadaqa-e-jariah not only for for him but also for those who read to learn and act.

Thank you for sharing these links. All his content was superb.
May his posts continue to spread light in the society and may Allah AWJ reward his efforts as sadaqa-e-jariah.

I have a tear in my eye as I write it. The great service done by Mr Fazal Wahab is a shining example of scientific social work journalism in a way no other has pursued: road safety and environmental emissions. There is such a yearning that he had remained some more time with us to see his efforts come to completion. But again need to remind us that Allah SWT has the best plan.

I fear that the case of MMT he picked up (a fuel additive which is being used despite being banned) will become an orphan. I hope & pray that a worthy successor picks up this cause and continues his work from where it was left. His landmark articles on MMT use in Pakistan are still the most comprehensive ones out there:

He was the first one to pinpoint one of the serious but hidden reasons why Pakistani assemblers usually launch older generation cars here. In 2016 when I launched CarSpiritPK, Fazal was willing to write for us. He was not happy with PW back then on some issue related to the then newly-launched Civic X which had numerous quality issues and Fazal did an article on it. There was a good long chat between us (i can even share screenshots 🙂 ), I even created his login credentials but strangely Fazal said he never received them on his email. Later he reverted his decision to write for CSPK which was just a couple of months old back then.
