These dimensions are very much comparable to the new Toyota Land Cruiser J300 albeit the fact that Niutron NV has a relatively larger wheelbase.

I also like the concept of the range extender. A petrol engine to extend the range when needed. It is good for countries like ours where the charging infrastructure is still lacking. The vehicle is a full EV. However, It will not be as cheap to operate as a full EV only because of the ICE engine which will require the periodic oil and fluid change. But still, the ICE only comes into play when range is needed. Which is maybe once in a while and not all the time. It will still save on fuel bills.

What I don’t understand is, why don’t the jap companies concentrate on this instead of complaining about the shift to EV? They are always crying about the death of ICE. This range extender tech is prefect for them. Even here China is beating them while they sit still twiddling their thumbs.
