So no matter the “positive spin” they try to put on it through their paid-pals (sponsored websites) 🤣, they are going down badly. The sales numbers difference between June and July are staggering!

No localization, no exports. Just lazy 30 years gaining experience in doing nothing and making changes to policies and/or stopping them; which now, in the long run, have proven to be deadly to these companies themselves. They really are their own worst enemies.

what i understand is that every segment is on a decline, but the expensive crossovers 4x4s & SUVs are declining at a much slower pace than ordinary sedans and hatchbacks… so this way their market share is kind of increasing..

Also we posted about the increase in SUV sales in April, after which the monthly numbers for Fortuner & Hilux has been like this: Apr: 941, May: 865, Jun: 862, Jul: 208 🙂

One thing I don’t understand. I thought the big SUVs like the Fortuner were increasing in sales numbers. Now even they are showing a drop. Are these local companies fudging their numbers? It doesn’t make sense. One minute the SUVs are the big selling item. Now they are declining. What is going on? Its confusing. 🤔😕
