If these “shutdowns” go long enough, we can get two things from it:

  • Either they leave the country for good (finally!)
  • They realize how stupid they look waiting for cheap Chinese sweatshop parts to arrive and finally decide to manufacture them themselves.

Either way it’s hopefully a win-win situation for us.

Don’t want to change their ways. They have fleeced the nation too far with their CKD drama in which they have been unable to achieve localization for any vehicles even after 43+ years of “assembling” of 2nd-tier-Chinese-manufactured spare parts of Japanese cars, have been hurting the economy which can now take no more abuse.

How long can they sustain business with their shutdowns? Either they localize properly or they close shop. The sooner they die the better it is for Pakistan.
