PAAPAM means nothing to these assemblers, it is absolutely useless. PAAPAM is simply a mere puppet, a donkey that PAMA can kick when it wants it’s demands met by the government. Last time (afaik) anything that PAAPAM did was urge the government to tighten the already tight used import rules, and cried about how the 15-20k used imports a year are hurting the 200k new halal PAMA certified imports a year and the local parts industry… which was ironic, since PAAPAM could literally benefit from used imports by making parts of used import cars.

PAAPAM is just a puppet that doesn’t want it’s puppet master to get angry. Otherwise they are absolutely useless.
