The only cars that I saw on this whole day trip were now defunct Suzuki Cultus, new Cultus, Toyota Corolla (cars from 70s’ included), Suzuki Mehran, Toyota Hilux, Suzuki Wagon R, Toyota Yaris, Suzuki Bolan and Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. I have listed names in terms of numbers, thus, the car leading the list appeared highest in terms of numbers. While cars like Honda City, Civic (2007 model), new model around here is known as a monster eating cash, V2, KIA Picanto and Sportage cannot even be mentioned as they only appeared once or twice and were clearly coming in from cities, as they housed families dressed in urban wear.
Though the listed cars are too expensive and not included with tech gadgets, however, are still able to hold on tightly after feeling the heat from falling in large and deep potholes. The size of three caused our Cultus to make sound as though her frame had hit the road, we were jerked about. I myself at time was traveling in 2017 old model Cultus and it did not tire us, it sailed over Allhamdulillah on Euro Tycoon tires.
It was then that it became clear to me that people wanting to tread around mire of maintenance cost buy tried and tested cars and keep them on over several years. The simple to understand and tackle technology goads them toward these cars, however, they hate giving-up very high price for these cars. Pak Suzuki could really do well if it were to MANUFACTURE THIS CULTUS NOT ASSEMBLE AND RE-LAUNCH IT. The control over technology could allow management to even direct the price and do some good for community.
However, seeing as how Pakistani love to hold onto money whether it is halal or haram, this imagination is not turning into reality anytime soon. Until then, all I can say is that I am disappointed however, must face this UNETHICAL price increases being planned by our Pakistani friends working in Pak Suzuki.
