While in a recent blog post of Oct 23, 2023, the PW Blog speculated again about Jun-2024 (link here https://carspiritpk.com/no-more-suzuki-bolan-ravi-after-june-2022/#comment-14852), a new post dated Nov 2, 2023 is more confident about Every launching within Nov-2023.

Here is a brief about which gen of Carry is parallel to which gen of Every. And some other useful insight too.

PW Blog again covered this topic, and again the tentative date they gave is too far into the future: 23Q4 or 24H1. The article even mentions that “It is pertinent to mention that 11-generation EVERY is a CBU unit sold in the country whilst the CKD is on the cards.” and there are 2 factual inaccuracies in this sentence: The vehicle under discussion is the 6th gen Every which is based on the 11th gen Carry, so itself it is not the 11th gen of Every. And the only CKDs of Every being sold in the country are used orphaned JDM imports.

In 1979, 4 major events happened, Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan, Iran Revolution, Grand Mosque Seizure in Saudia and launch of Hi-roof in Pakistan. All these events had remarkable impact on the future of the world.
In 10 years, Soviet Union ceased to exist, yet the Bolan still carried on, after 12 years, US attacked Afghanistan, Bolan was there to witness the the events, a further 20 years, US defeat, but Bolan is still there! So Bolan is the one who has seen the rise and fall of superpowers!

You could also see the choice and variety of vehicles available in Afghanistan, a war-torn country which has never seen seen stability in the last half century. Then you look at Bolan and see that itself is “the” undying icon of stability in Pakistan.

Since the Grand Mosque Seizure in Makkah, look at the kind of cars available there then and now, yet the Bolan is still continue in Pakistan.

Since the Iran Revolution, Iran has been the target of many economic sanctions but look at the vehicle choice and variety available in Iran. Isn’t it insane that Pakistani audiences are still stuck with Bolan?

In 1978 the “Chinese Opening Up and Reform” policy began. Soon after the Bolan followed in Pakistan (1979, the event was unrelated to Chinese opening up, just the chronology). Now you see the photographs of China from 1979 vs 2021, but the Bolan in Pakistan has only changed from round headlights to square headlights. This is how Pakistan’s automakers are dragging their feet while other nations are quickly progressing.

If you have sat in a recent model Every or Hijet, you must have experienced how much more comfortable its ride is. Maybe you don’t need safety, but you do need comfort or not? The newer microvans are small from the outside, spacious inside, having large windows and better A/c meanwhile having lower fuel consumption. Or you’d rather keep paying more fuel for an uncomfortable ride?

99% agree with your 2nd para. Motorcycles, Qingqi and etc. have even more obsolete tech and offer even lower safety yet they are are the largest in number despite that the blogs such as CSP are not covering that topic at all!

Therefore, please note that putting an airbag in a vehicle is not going to protect a poor passenger from dying off impact being caused due to pig-hearts driving like a movie hero over a blind turn on a busy road at 60 kms an hour. You guys should rather think about imposing ethics by force on such type of drivers, in the middle of growing accidents, it is high time that people learned common sense.
Moreover, have you considered about growing number of useless bikes and rickshaws in Pakistan, these contraptions are using an even more older technology and furthermore because of their size are effecting every living being in our society. Clearly, something needs to be done, on priority bases, to force people to switch to a four wheel. The four wheel should be able to attract the stupid bike riders in ditching the unattractive contraption they call a mode of transport.
