Thanks for the link, it is more clear, they will assemble vehicles in the same industrial park and not in the same assembly plant, the partnership will be only a local partner, is about commerce law. And unfortunetly they didn’t start any assembly under the 2016-2021 policy.
We see what will happened in the future anyway they aren’t welcome.
And in your article you mention Peugeot as premium but it isn’t is a mid-range brand, premium brand of PSA (Now Stellansis) is DS, but for a premium brand is not in the level of premium brands.

With all due respect Peugeot cars cannot be assembled where’s Kia is build, because they aren’t the same brand, they aren’t partner, they aren’t sharing any platform or technical specs. So the assembly line is totally different for both brands. When i was looking for the brands underbuild or future assambly plant in Pakistan, i cannot found anything about Peugeot.
It is impossible technicaly for Peugeot to be built where Kia is.
Again Peugeot got nothing in Pakistan only testing cars, and an underpowered and poor durability car. So Peugeot will do nothing before Volskwagen yet.

VW plant is far from completion where Peugeot will be built in the same plant where Kia is being produced here… So Peugeot will materialize a lot earlier than VW

But what about Volkswagen ? Isn’t Volkswagen the first european brand to built a manufacturing plant in Pakistan ? I beleive they already start the works of the building.
But peugeot didn’t plan anything like this yet.

Ummm, Shahnawaz has been selling Mercedes since 1958 (before the 1970s mentioned above). And Dewan has been seeling BMW since 2004, whereas Audi is coming through Premier Systems since 2006-7. And these companies have been launching new models each year, though all of them have always been CBU.
MG came to Pakistan in 2020, though to consider it as a European brand or a Chinese brand is everybody’s personal choice.
