What can you expect from a country that has the work ethic of working till you drop dead with utmost loyalty to your corporate company. Leaving your job is considered a grave sin and asking for a leave/vacation is considered shameless and dishonoring. This is why the birth rate in Japan is decreasing and suicide rates are increasing, no one has the time to do barely anything else besides work, work and work.

Claims the man who is illiterate and is using Indian products all the while lamenting over the plight of Kashmiri people. Ethics and you do not mix Ali Khan so do not even talk about it.

As the article states, the work environment at Hino was so bad that employees could not do anything or voice their concerns or give advice. I’m sure its the same at Toyota. The way Akio is going, I’m sure someone’s dying to tell him to change his ways but can’t. The problem is systemic. What this proves is Toyota is fast becoming a bad company whether its at home in japan or elsewhere in the world.

Lastly, bowing in the Japanese culture is a very serious gesture. This company has taken that and made it into a farce. How many times in the recent past has people from Toyota group have had to bow for different issues? I find it so insincere and insensitive.
