I don’t know why this is so. We can all be sure that the market volatility or inflation or very high energy costs are an influencing factor in this behavior. However, on the flip side, the big three have always exhibited this behavior; even when the market was doing better. So taking unfair advantage of a monopolistic market with lax regulation is a way of life for these people.

If they have the leeway to actually get the prices down and get their sales up and they still choose to stick with the higher prices instead, aren’t they killing themselves?

Kia recently made the right move. Now it is up to this, and the other floundering companies to take a hint.
