Looks wise, the interior looks very reminiscent of Lotus design language! That steering wheel and gear shifter just gives it out. Very sporty interior and exterior design compared to it’s competitors back then.

If you look at it from a features perspective, the Gen-2 was ahead of the curve in Pakistan by leaps and bounds. When compared to the Corolla’s and Civics or Cities of the time, this was feature rich and also had airbags as standard.
Looks wise, it still looks very good. Inside and outside.

Crazy how Proton launched cars coming from three different decades and the most successful one was the most latest design. As if new designs and newer technology sell better, even from a freshman company in Pakistan... But it's a shame how they never really stayed for long. I have a feeling the same thing is going to happen again thanks to Al Haj.

love this series about old cars we used to have. seems like musharraf era had more variety than today, atleast there was more for a common man than today
