We were ahead of India in so many fields up till 1980’s. Its the personal greed, and short sightedness along with lack of National Pride, that killed so many dreams in Pakistan. The Pakistan’s economy is suffering now, because of the mistakes of the past. Even now, I hope the Pakistani Government learns some lessons, and support the Domestic Auto Industry, not those 3 Japanese, Auto Looters Mafia, and hopefully ban those three, entirely, for damaging and crippling Pakistan’s ability to truly indigenize the Automobile in Pakistan, the National Car of Pakistan, is still a dream. Adam Revo was another attempt in 2005, but again Government of Pakistan, proved to be enemy of Pakistan’s own Car industry, yet again, by destroying that company by imposing taxes on it, instead of giving them Tax Holidays, and Government should have been buying the Government official vehicles in bulk from them, in initial years, like most Asian and other developing countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, India have done, to support their own Auto industry and create millions of well paying jobs.
