The one million is just passenger vehicles. Iran also produces roughly half a million motorcycles a year IIRC.
It’s pretty much one of their main industries.

Wait wait wait! Iran’s population is around 9-10 crore. A lot less than Pakistan.
Iran also has economic sanctions on it.

Does this 1 mn include trucks buses rickshaws motorcycles and agricultural tractors?
Even if yes, still the Iran’s automotive market is more than 10 times bigger than Pakistan.
