I totally agree. Such roads must be built all over the country. The government must think of the “poor” rich people. They lead such tough lives.πŸ˜”

Where tesla stands today is due to their emphasis on charging network. Pehlo e to hybrid logo ki liye asan banado lekin mommy or daddy ke beta ko luxury EV denge, beta Porsche taycan chahiye ya e-tron.

You are exactly right. I can’t believe they actually acknowledged the words “Luxury and Hybrid vehicles” as if they knew this whole EV Policy thing was never for the many!! No wonder the Prius costs a fortune from IMC, it’s marketed towards these kids of rich parents!!

Wait….. This gives me an idea….

Ahem… HELLO GOVERNMENT!!!

It seems that you are aware of these rich kid’s needs, to some extent, so let me further inquire you about more of their needs!
Recently, some rich kid imported an absolutely pristine AMG GTR for himself in Karachi! However, there are no nice roads for him to drive on!!! πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜ so he has to park it in his house and only look at it πŸ˜”

Meanwhile there are no Hybrids or EVs or even just small cars for the common man and the 70cc bike from when our parents or grand-parents were young, is the "awam ke sawari". And what ever "incentives" that were given in the new policy for "small cars" are strictly for the desi Japani assemblers because no other brand except for the Japanese make anything less than 1L engines. Oh, how money and power talks! Still, whatever the "bahana", I hope they do start the EV infrastructure establishment all over Pakistan and not just in the few big cities with the "rich and luxury" EVs. They should target the Motorways first for maximum benefit. Also, as the charging will be public i.e., pay to use, it can be a good source for revenue generation for the government. Lastly, the government should increase the battery size restriction from 50kWh to at least 90-100kWh for cars and SUVs. Many Chinese EV brands have very affordable and good EV sedans and SUVs that have battery capacities up to 70kWh to even 90kWh. The only reason I believe that restriction was put in place was because of the "expert advise" of the local assemblers..... And the government listened and is still going by that recommendation. Again, Oh, how money and power talks!!!]]> He added that people are importing luxury and hybrid vehicles and there is the need for an effective infrastructure to promote a friendly transport system in the country.”
