They don’t have any of their own refinery in Pakistan which means they’ve been buying from one of the 5 refineries of Pakistan (Attock, Cynergico, National, Pakistan, Parco) or importing. Shell is already offering the MMT-free V-Power petrol https://www.dawn.com/news/1452175, now what are they waiting for, they can offer Euro 7 quality fuels which produce very low amount of smoke and ash.

Showing good Corporate Social Responsibility, they must ensure low-polluting and harmless-to-health fuels by staying ahead of the curve, not just by bare-minimum legal compliance. They can even go ahead and invest in upgrading the refineries, one of the pain-points in Pakistan. If so, I’ll consider buying more from Shell.
