For 1300 cc and above tax for filer is Rs 50,000 & non filer its Rs 1 lac, whereas for 1000 cc to 1298 cc its Rs 30,000 & Rs 40,000 respectively. Secondly Ciaz price has to competitive with New 2017 Honda City which is expected to be launched at Rs 19 lac somewhere in 2017. However as competition improves market and customers will get a choice in 1300 to 1500 cc segment the K series engine in CIAZ will earn good sales as this type of engine is highly fuel efficient and low maintenance.
