Suzuki Prices Increased by Rs 350,000

Pak Suzuki has announced the second price revision of the year which comes hardly two weeks after the first one was announced on the 24th of January 2023. Effective from the 9th of February, the latest increase see the prices of locally assembled Suzuki cars go up by up to Rs 350,000.

With an increase of up to Rs 228,000, the price of 660cc Alto VXL AGS has now reached PKR 26.51 lac. The four-decades-old Ravi and Bolan enjoy their prices revised by Rs 130,000 and Rs 135,000 after which Ravi is now available for PKR 16.69 lac whereas Bolan is available for PKR 17.54 lac.

The prices of 1000cc Wagon R and Cultus have witnessed an increase of up to Rs 289,000 and Rs 337,000 respectively. After which, the Wagon R VXL now costs PKR 33.48 lac whereas the Cultus VXL AGS is now available for PKR 39.06 lac. Finally, the Swift witnesses a price increase of up to Rs 350,000 after which the costliest GLX variant has now touched PKR 44.62 lac.

Meanwhile, Pak Suzuki has also announced another plant shutdown schedule which will be its 4th NPD schedule in 2023 and the 14th since August 2022 taking the total number of NPDs beyond 45. In a notification sent to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company cites a shortage of inventory levels as the reason behind the move whereas its motorcycle plant will remain operational.
