Without infrastructure an E.V. cannot bring promised reductions in country’s fuel bill, most of the part of private transport share is generated from bikes and not many of them would actually buy an untested Chinese shit. The reason is frequent maintenance cost.

All this hullaballoo to benefit only three cars in our market. The companies who advised on this move will benefit and the consumer is again left with very little (bad) choice.
Oh, and by the way, an FYI to all our esteemed Sahibaan in power; small 800cc cars are NOT middle class family cars. ALL the cars sold in the local market i.e. the corolla, Yaris, civic, city, swift, cultus, Elantra etc. are ALL strictly cars for UPTO middle class buyers. These are cheap runabouts for the masses. The only reason that they are premium in our skewed market is because of the extreme amount of taxes and the unchecked rates of profits by the local mafia of companies.

And, yes I will call them a mafia because that is how they are acting and the government seems to be encouraging them.
