While the original Wuling Mini EV is a 4-seater, the Cabrio has 2 seats but for losing the extra seating you get a convertible soft-top roof that fully folds into the back. Behind the seats are roll bars for extra protection, and they are visually pleasing too.

Initially, the EV Cabrio will come in only three colors: sea blue, emerald, and modern black, however Wuling will add more colors in later stages. The A-pillar is painted in matte gray while the convertible roof is standard black or optional red. Overall the appearance is very impressive and from the sides it looks as if its a small dinkey car.

The Mini EV Cabrio measures 3,059/1,521/1,614 mm with a 2,010 wheelbase. For the sake of comparison the Suzuki FX was 3,195mm long so the Cabrio is even shorter than the FX in length. It gets powered by an electric motor that outputs 30 kW (41 hp) and 110 Nm which enables the little car to achieve a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour. There is a 26.5 kWh battery, good for a 280 km CLTC range.

Interior hasn’t changed in terms of design, when compared to the regular Wuling Mini. There are two color combinations available, a red/black and white/black theme. Prices are yet to be disclosed but will be reveled ahead of launch which is expected to take place on the 9th of September 2022.

In March 2021, Javed Afridi teased the Wuling Mini EV as ‘Coming Soon’ for a below PKR 1.0 million price tag in Pakistan. Though the car like many others teased by him, is yet to be launched in the country. But we strongly desire if they bring something as cute as the little Mini Cabrio EV here, it will perhaps be something worth spending the money on.
