Your posts are very good example for a psychology student to understand the Dunning-Kruger effect.

TATA is an Indian company. Tatra is a company from Czech Republic.

Mind you the potholes on the highway, bumper of Mehran falling off, all these are problems in South Pakistan. The infrastructure and Sindh and Balochistan is dilapidated. North Pakistan that is Punjab, KPK, FATA (now KPK) and even the landslide-risky AJK & GB roads are better, they do not have random rutting or potholes. High bumper is not a requirement there.

Khurram, he’s actually correct. You’ll see OPERATIVE trucks being used to transport intercity/intercountry and not just sit around in one township of some city.

one can even visit a truck repair shop in Garden, Shershah, Yousuf Goth, and other areas and see that Hino rules the commercial world.”

Ever wondered why its always a Hino that’s parked up at a REPAIR shop, Khurram? Say that again and you’ll know 🤣🤣🤣

Firstly, you seem to be labouring under a delusion travelling across country can get you an insight into the world of trucks. Well, the answer is and there are other means. I literally live in a port city and you are telling me that I need to travel up country to see that owner-operators are running a Ken worth or DAF and a MAN. I must commend your head for making such a stupid suggestion because one can even visit a truck repair shop in Garden, Shershah, Yousuf Goth, and other areas and see that Hino rules the commercial world. Anyways, note that every item imported in country passes from Karachi so most of the transport is passing from this city and going to other parts of Pakistan. Therefore, I suggest that you stop lying about American or European truck brands being run by owner operators. For the information, owner-operator means the owner who is driving the truck.
Secondly, article is talking about owner operator and not N.L.C. or F.W.O., they are Pakistani military owned businesses they are not private so money is not an issue with them hence comparing trucks owned by them to truck owning and operating power of the owner-operator or private transport company is like comparing apples with oranges. I also told you before that Ken worth, Peterbilt, Western Star, Navistar are American
companies they are not assembling their products in Pakistan. Have you an idea what is their total purchase price. Do the math can a poor owner-operator, having 90% share of commercial transport this include Faisal movers, AK transporters, T.C.S. Agility, O.C.S and other private companies, afford driving such a semi. Moreover, these brands build their trucks for comfort and thus their ground clearance is low, you cannot overload them and drive them at the same time in Pakistan. Have you seen the size of potholes on highway? It goes for
European trucks. Their parts and repair time is so high that owner-operators
cannot afford to own them.
Thirdly, article is talking about truck not semis and the brands that you are citing are famous for making heavy duty semis the one that can be configured into 8*4 platform why the hell do you keep confusing them together their capabilities are different and their costs of ownership are different. Fourthly, transporters shifted to Hino late because it came into existence in 1942 and offered its first truck in 1958 so what were then people supposed to do. Bedford was the best until Hino arrived. Hino trucks reached Pakistani shores in 60s people fell for them because they were better built trucks and semis, they had load capacity of over 20, 40, 60 tons and could be up-graded to go up to 120 tons poor Bedford cannot even take 15tons. Wide number of offerings, reasonable prices, lower maintenance cost, high chance of in-house re-engineering, the econo-diesel model of the 90s is
being converted to 8*4 platform, try and do that to a European or Chinese truck, they are going to snap under the weight. These are some reasons that people shifted to Hino and for your information the engine that you see in a Bedford today. It is not a G.M.C., it is a Hino or a Toyota, confirm that from any driver, by the way, poor driver won’t be updating his information on Wikipedia so that website won’t give you information on famous truck brands in Pakistan.

P.S. It is not Tatra. it is TATA and TATA is owner of Daewoo and it is established that Daewoo’s maintenance cost is way more than a Hino, Isuzu and Mistsubishi Fuso, by the way, there was facelift for Daewoo, if it were popular that facelift could be seen on the roads.

Even worse, he has always stereotyped that people in the KPK region all drive NCP cars, so by default they are all cheats. But it’s okay if Khurram makes and uses stereotypes, he is an old person therefore he is allowed to insult other foolish younglings like us 🤪

Wow, I had no idea of this. Looks like Edhi sourced themselves cheap retired Soviet era ambulances, all by themselves… which is pretty sad 😔😓 A shame when we see the government failing to help/relieve even the humanitarian bodies…

Why are you mentioning about stereotypes?
Is it unexpected of a teenage girl to write about trucks? It signifies the discreet stereotype in your mind has been broken.

You should have remembered your take on stereotyping when you stereotyped Peshawarites. You also tried to use stereotyping in your favor in the older posts by claiming that you have sat with ulema – as if someone frequently sitting with the ulema automatically demands respect. You have stereotyped other who (alleged by you, you were just assuming once again) don’t sit with the ulema.

Astaghfaar summa astaghfaar.

Probably Pak Army had some UAZ 4×4s too in the olden times, couldn’t find any lead though.
Maybe not trucks.
The guy above forgot to mention Isuzu in that laundry list.

I haven’t seen any UAZ trucks but I surely saw a GAZ 53 or two! It was surprising to see a Soviet Era truck get used in Pakistan 🤯
