Then in 1998 Suzuki launched the Baleno and I remember its marketing campaigns thoroughly mentioned it as Pakistan’s first 1300cc EFI car (because earlier Civic & Corolla EFIs were either 1.6L or 1.5L engines) 🙂

Second it is delusion.
Third it is projection.
Fourth it is manipulation.
Fifth it is gaslighting.
Sixth it is outright lying.

It is so obviously parallel with the current state of politics, where new things are inaugurated or old things pasted with a new name and the sleeping forgetful nation told that it is happening for the “first” time in the history of the nation. When record-keeping souls like you bring out the truth, the same things have been done in the 50s or 60s – the cognitive dissonance begins.
