Dear assemblers didn’t need 2 years. They just created a false propaganda for the need, otherwise, if they had acted solely according to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), government would never have to create laws to get them to do this.
Mind you they had asked for 2 years which ended on July 2022, and their offerings are still not Euro 5 in March 2023!
