Back then too fanboys and business managers of other brands were choking in post-sales period related to those cars. This fact perhaps is the reason that noted business journals have always placed Toyota as a pioneer of efficient business strategies, so many off which are now copied by other automakers and so many other healthcare and hospitality organisations.
Furthermore, and surprisingly, unlike a Tesla, this car is a good looking one and houses a safe battery built-up that could be charged from another built-in green source that is a good call in one shot and makes it unique from Tesla. The car can also run in Pakistan generating lower footprint then e-tron because of its solar powered charging ability, at-least until the time comes for it to require an overhaul.
However, while the battery re-use philosophy is a good one, the Toyota still had not answered two questions? How is this battery being made, is the mineral sourced from a renewable source or like Tesla clouds of hazardous materials are being used to mine Cobalt or other minerals from South Africa. Moreover, can this battery material be recycled even after it gets mixed with other forms of trash? If Toyota answer those questions, then I believe it can truly beat Tesla.
