Toyota must consider the future. Its even causing confusion amongst its own suppliers; Who are ready to make the change it seems. Only Toyota’s shaky attitude is causing problems. They need to make a stand now and just do it.

“As per reports, a number of initiatives that were intended to use the e-TNGA platform are currently being deferred or canceled.”

So that meant that many of their so called EV lineup they showed before will be scrapped. Even Toyota realizes now that they were not ready products and/or not up to the standards required by the EV world. 🤔

Now that Toyota is looking into EVs more seriously, mirroring or borrowing or using “inspired by” technologies from tesla etc., that means that again Toyota (or the Japanese companies in general) will be taking its(their) ques from the Americans, the Europeans and the Chinese as well. The Chinses are already making EVs for Toyota.

So Toyota is again playing follow the leader unlike the Chinese who have taken the initiative to further their EV technology as much as they can. 🤔
