Was thinking the same but you made this comment first so no need for me to write the same.

One more thing to consider is that Japan has been is a doggedy position since Second World War. While Japan was the perpetrator of many atrocities, the International War Crimes Tribunal only punished the Japanese war-criminals whereas those who won the war (Allied) were considered purely innocent. Now they have been recently pressurizing Toyota for being the choice of e.g. so-called ISIS etc. This is pure jealousy because the so-called militias never like American or German makes as their technicals and hypocritically don’t get any diplomatic criticism even though the top brass can be seen luxxing around in them.

In Japan, they are getting people to sign agreements not to sell their vehicles before a certain date or to ensure some people don’t buy them to sell for a premium.
But here in Pakistan, they have been actively ignoring and even promoting such poisonous practices. They should implement these measures here as well if they’re actually serious. Our market needs such measures more than Japan.
Secondly… now they decide wake up? 😄
