Hardly 6 days after the 3rd price hike of the year was announced, Indus Motor Company (IMC) has jacked up the prices of its CKD locally assembled cars for the 4th time this year (within 50 days since the beginning of the new year) while revealing the revised prices of its CBU cars which have become even more mind-boggling now.
The new prices for CBU cars are effective on all new orders after 14th February while the revised CKD prices are effective from the 20th of February 2023. This 4th price hike comes after the Rupee has actually improved its value by 4% since 10th February, but sees an increase in GST by the government which is now charged at 18%.
With an increase of Rs 9,360,000, the Camry Hybrid is now available for Rs 47,559,000 (4 crores, 75.59 lac).
The price of Prado 2.8L MT after an increase of Rs. 10,240,000, is Rs 52,119,000 (5 crores 21.19 lac) while that of Prado 2.8L AT has been increased by Rs 11,660,000 after which its new price is Rs 59,359,000 (5 crores 93.59 lac).
The price of Prado 4.0L has been increased by Rs 16,639,000 after which it now costs Rs 84,429,000 (8 crores 44.29 lac).
Lastly, the Land Cruiser J300 after an increase of Rs 28,920,000 will now cost Rs 138,319,000 (13 crores 83.19 lac).
