The looks, fit & finish and equipment seem impressive. Sp because none of the 4×4s in Pakistan are going to see any serious offroading.

One thing about Chinese cars in the last decade I sat in BYD F3 and E6, they look very shiny when new but very soon begin falling apart. Rusting, broken plastics, nonworking switches and other problems. Recently I have heard the quality has improved exponentially and BYD Han and others are being much more durable, but I have no personal exposure anymore.

Around 10 years ago my Chinese friends preferred to buy Citroen, BMW, Audi, VW, Toyota, Nissan, Suzuki, Ford & Skoda – with the execption of those who bought Haval because it was a big hit locally even at that time. Now most of them have shifted to Chinese EV brands and praise them as better than their previous purchase – except of 1 or 2 who frequently need to drive cross-country.

You might have a very good point about the GWM Tank having some effect here. 👍
