Thirty years and still they are parts importers. No meaningful localization or export market penetration. In all of the the thirty years, they started to export one lousy bumper plastic bit to Vietnam for the Corolla11th gen. Even that is now most probably stopped because Vietnam moved on to the latest 12th gen corolla a couple of years back; and Indus Toyota still cannot bring Toyota TNGA to Pakistan for some reason.
They had to play this long convoluted game of first brining in the hybrid Cross and then move on to other TNGA platforms like the corolla.🤷‍♂️🤯 So, ignore your top seller and go for a very bad performing Hybrid small SUV and then bring in the top selling corolla… 🤷‍♂️🤯

Even countries in Africa have moved onto TNGA long ago!

So now that parts are out, they have become carpet exporters to Egypt. It is funny, sad and pathetic all at once. 🤣🤣🤣
