The <a href=\"https:\/\/carspiritpk.com\/honda-teases-next-gen-amaze-ahead-of-debut\/\">Amaze<\/a>, Honda&#8217;s only product besides the new 7th generation City sedan, has been one of the brand&#8217;s best-selling vehicles in India.<\/p><div class=\"carsp-in-article\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; margin-top: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; clear: both; \" id=\"carsp-1518870538\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3921992284533937\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block;\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3921992284533937\" \ndata-ad-slot=\"2279435244\" \ndata-ad-format=\"auto\"><\/ins>\n<script> \n(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); \n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Keep in mind Honda pulled the plugs off the CR-V, Civic, and BR-V as well as the 4th gen City, Jazz, and (old) WR-V in India with only Amaze and City (which recently received a <a href=\"https:\/\/carspiritpk.com\/2023-honda-city-facelift-debuts-in-india\/\">facelift<\/a>) being sold there, while the new <a href=\"https:\/\/carspiritpk.com\/the-history-of-honda-hr-v\/\">HR-V<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/carspiritpk.com\/2023-honda-wr-v-launched-in-thailand\/\">WR-V<\/a> crossovers are set to be released later this year &amp; early next year, respectively.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Related: <a href=\"https:\/\/carspiritpk.com\/honda-wr-v-displayed-at-bims-2023\/\" rel=\"bookmark\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">New Honda WR-V Displayed at BIMS 2023<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Honda introduced the first-generation Amaze in 2013, and it instantly became a huge hit. Honda&#8217;s diesel engine was installed in the Amaze for the first time in India. The second-generation Amaze debuted in 2018, picking up where its predecessor left off. Honda, however, had to drop the diesel engine option from the Amaze due to stricter emission regulations, and sales suffered as a result. Yet, with the drive for sustainability, this is the way to go.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-67133 aligncenter\" title=\"amaze group\" src=\"https:\/\/carspiritpk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/amaze-group.jpg\" alt=\"amaze group\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/carspiritpk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/amaze-group.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/carspiritpk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/amaze-group-250x141.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In these 10 years, Honda has sold over 5.3 lac Amaze sedans in the Indian market, averaging roughly 53,000 units per year and 4,416 units per month. This engine is available with two transmission options: a 5-speed manual that returns 18.6 km\/l and a CVT that runs for 18.3 km\/l. The Honda Amaze is priced from <strong>INR 6.99 lac<\/strong>. Honda has recently upgraded the Amaze to meet BS6 Phase 2 standards which became effective from April 2023. The updated Amaze is now E20 compliant as well.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-67134 size-full\" title=\"amaze cover\" src=\"https:\/\/carspiritpk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/amaze-cover-e1680764683652.jpg\" alt=\"amaze cover\" width=\"960\" height=\"576\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the occasion, Takuya Tsumura, President &amp; CEO, of Honda Cars India said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cToday marks a milestone in our India journey, as Honda Amaze completes a decade-long presence in this market with over 530,000 customers. We\u2019re glad the Amaze is significantly contributing to our India business and has become the best-selling model in our line-up.
