We can do the same here if our government ever gets serious about it. Right now all the "go green" talk from them is just that; Only talk and no substance. There are no genuine plans to import these cheap EVs en-masse for the people and sell them as cheaply as possible to help people with eliminate fuel costs and reduce the burden of the daily commute. Even for the very popular EV bikes and scooters there are no proper financing schemes from banks. I have personally been trying to get and EV bike/scooter but I cannot find any bank with any finance plans in my area. These small cheap EV cars and bikes and scooters are the way forward for Pakistani people. But due to the unserious attitude from our leaders and as long as there is no political gain to be had from this, it will never be important enough for them to pay it any attention. 😞😡]]> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cM2RqUzyqek

Please watch the video in the link. This is how popular these small EVs are china. They have their own industry events that are mega popular with the people.

The small EVs that we have here also fall under this LSEV category. Cars such as the Honri EV, the Gugo Gigi EV, The Rinco Aria EV and the new Changan EV displayed at PAPS etc. Basically any of the small EVs that have been launched in Pakistan. The sad part is that even though these are very cheap EVs in china and even though our government has a very low import tax on these EVs; somehow, by the time they reach Pakistan they end up being 4 to 5 million PKR cars! 🤯
