Some cars also had the faux wooden print on the doors and fenders. These cars usually had a cream colour or golden colour which matched the wooden scheme perfectly.

The basic inspiration was possibly the horse-drawn buggies from history.

Chrome bumper were an absolute attraction and added to the shine and gleam of the car. Later on rubber bumpers became the norm, black in the initial years and matching bumpers in the later years. Nowadays, plastic bumpers are the norm.
