Pakwheels has a new article about:-

Local Suzuki Alto VXL vs. JDM Suzuki Alto Works | Cheap Thrillshttps://www.pakwheels.com/blog/local-suzuki-alto-vxl-vs-jdm-suzuki-alto-works-cheap-thrills/

posted on 21 May 2024.

I don’t know how those thrills are cheap.
The paragraph about CVT in the Alto Works does not feel correct. As far as I know, both the Alto Works come with a 5-sp manual, the Turbo RS is an AMT 5-spd (AGS).

Why can’t PS offer some upgrades to Alto after so many years?

Summary:
1] Alloy rims + interior colour for VXL
2] M/T for VXL
3] Power windows for VXR (both M/T and AGS)

Is Suzuki Alto Getting Some Upgrades?

My take: VXL M/T I’ll be the first to buy it. Because the AGS is failure-prone I avoid the VXL but I’d love to have ABS.

What is available in Pakistan is below the lowest JDM/global trim. They can just offer more features from the upper trims and present it as a facelift for the local market. It should be possible for them now because after selling hundreds of thousands of units, they must have recouped the initial expenditure by a big margin.

Other ideas can be found here https://carspiritpk.com/suzuki-alto-660cc-becoming-the-fastest-to-clock-200000-units/#comment-15705 and many other articles and comments linked from there.

8th gen Alto never had a true facelift. Apart from the Works Edition it remained unchanged throughout it’s lifespan so can’t expect Pak Suzuki to bring a facelift. But this gives a best chance to show their localization skills, develop a facelift on their own. At least they can change bumpers n lights, no?

Any new features?
Any safety upgrades?
Any new colours for the exterior/interior?

WHAT AN ACHIEVEMENT!!! 👏👏👏
