This should serve as a wake up call for Toyota, they think they are untouchable. They think that if they stop selling their vehicles in EU or USA due to electrification standards, the world will simply suffer because there are no more Toyotas available to the public to buy, when in fact, there are a dozen Chinese companies and a dozen other companies who are more than happy to fill in that gap in the market when Toyota fails to swallow their pride and leave their spot open for them.
