We must keep in view that the current JDM DA17V/DA17W 6th gen Suzuki Every debuted in Japan/globally in 2015, it is based upon the 11th gen Carry DA16T which debuted in 2013 {https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Carry#Eleventh_generation_(2013)}. So the platform is already ~10 years old and overdue for a generation change. At that stage, they must make 4-wheel disc brake, projection headlights and other advances standard.

If they (=PakSuzuki) want to launch the Every after 3 years, they must launch the latest & greatest of that time. Sixth sense would say that they (=PakSuzuki) are waiting for the jigs and dies to be retired from Suzuki’s plant in Iwata, Shizouka when the new model would be launched in Japan.

If we’re going to get Every after further 3 years, then PakSuzuki must make sure it is the 7th gen from 2024, not the 6th gen from 2015.

The non-kei class DC61T/DN61T Mega-Carry (https://carspiritpk.com/suzuki-carry-minibus-in-indonesia/, https://carspiritpk.com/suzuki-carry-wins-best-pickup-award-indonesia/, ) which was launched in 2019 in Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines and now being exported to nearly 100 countries {https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Carry#International_(DC61T/DN61T;_2019)} is a market-specific model related to the APV, not a descendant of Bolan.

On the other hand there is the IDM (Indian Domestic Model) Suzuki Super Carry https://carspiritpk.com/maruti-suzuki-super-carry-sales-cross-100000-sales-milestone/ which has a small body and big engine, similarly they can launch the Every in Pakistan with 2 engine options: 660 cc and 1000 cc.

I’m sure all of these rickshaws and the Bolan/Ravi are made from cheap Chinese sweatshop parts, since there is no rule in Pakistan’s auto industry stating that these “manufacturers” should import their parts from their company’s authorized parts manufacturers only. Otherwise why would even the ones making the “higher” quality cars import their jigs and fixtures from countries like Indonesia and Thailand when they retire there instead of directly buying the parts from Japan? 🙄

If nothing else, There is one question they must be made to look into. Where are the parts for the Bolan or Ravi being sourced from? Are they “original” parts or knockoffs? Cheaply made by some small factory in china and then cheaply imported by Pak Suzuki. This is a serious issue and must be highlighted. Are we buying a “genuine” Suzuki product or is it a scam?

A similar investigation must also be carried out in the case of two wheelers as well. Which ones have genuine parts and which are cobbled together from cheap knockoffs.

Do something. Show some backbone rather than just beg for their “donations”. 😡
