So your “justification” is sighting three articles reporting on the same story. BYD recalling cars for a battery defect that might cause serious battery failure or fires. Tesla has had the same problem. Still does. BYD is not the only one.

The other thing which is mentioned are customers who are pissed because the company is changing their battery packs for a potential defect, without any cost to them (for free). Here is an other line from the article you sited:

Though compensated, the customers said they wanted BYD to be more transparent.”

So not only did they get a free replacement. They were compensated for it! That is good precautionary measures by the company, not something evil.

The japs have had many many recalls over the years. Especially Toyota. Why not mention them as well just to even out the playing field.

Here are a few of them.

https://moneyinc.com/the-five-biggest-toyota-recalls-in-company-history/

Also, if BYD is taking heat in its country for emission from its factory. Good. They must be held accountable if it is true. But what about Toyota? it has repeatedly been in the news as the worst performing auto company when it comes to emissions regulation compliance. Any thoughts on that?

And lastly, if BYD replaced batterie in customers vehicles at no cost to them, they have done something far above and beyond anything our local jap companies ever did. remember the defective nightmare that the pervious civic was for some owners. Lets mention that as well here then.

But I’m sure to you (because you have said so on other occasions), the japs doing it is good business ethics. Any one else just shows their “defective products”. right?

In their biasness the illiterate people have not even noted that Chinese cars have not even achieved 10% of what the global automakers have done quite a long time ago. Even then Chinese crappy cars, marketed as premium, are facing critical safety issues, what would happen once they become global like established players hopefully they would sink before reaching that level, ironically the company is not even accepting the problem or even telling about it to the customers.
Good old corruption of Chinese, may it sink their brands under the unethicalness they are practicing against Uyghur people. The article is also talking about emissions from B.Y.D. batteries causing nosebleed in poor children, which is a glaring fact as to how this technology is secretly harming the future of the society. However, there is another troubling point what should global community expect from the nation that is not even concerned at causing nosebleed in their own children? Can such nation be trusted to offer safety and security to non-Chinese people?

P.S. The other automakers, Geely and Great Wall have also seen themselves recalling their vehicles. I wonder how so-called educated people missed these articles, in my view, it is because they are intent on portraying Chinese as a Norse god and provender of quality cars. Well maybe the meaning of the term quality has changed when it comes to Japanese or European brands and Chinese brands.

1 – Your copy/paste conspiracy would also apply to the new Toyota crown then? What you completely fail to understand or choose to ignore is that, with so many designers around, and each company trying to attract as many customers, design styles do tend to get copied. Familiar designs sell better.
As I mentioned to you before, these designs go through extensive customer focus groups. The designs are as much the product of designers as they are customer feedback. And lastly they are paying world-renowned designers to design cars and SUVs for them. They are paying for their particular design styles. Yeah! things will end up looking similar to one vehicle or another. Again, before your conspiracy brain takes over; they are hired. NOT copied or forced.

2 – If EV is such a hype. Why are so many governments around the world setting deadlines for the ban on ICE car sales? With-in the next couple of decades I might add.

3 – Battery and EVs both share same base through battery and this kind of strategy is always helpful in raising profits of the seller because one product is targeted at one type of customer class, the other product is aimed at another customer class.”

Dude! your conspiracies are turning into gibberish! ðŸĪĶ‍♂ïļ

Fun fact;

This vehicle is way bigger than a Civic. In fact, it’s even bigger in size and length compared to the Tayota Camry, and it’s almost as big as a Mercedes S Class. This thing was way better build and material quality than a Honda Civic would ever have. By looks, it looks nothing like a Civic from any angle.

You’re saying that this looks like a Civic just by looking at pictures online, while I have seen this vehicle in person and can easily say that this is a completely original design, with barely any resemblance to a Civic or any other car.

So no. This isn’t a “Chinese pretty box” made with “forced Uyghur labor”, it is a legitimate high quality car. Honda could wish they could make their Civic as good as this. 🙃

Since copying and pasting reduced this cost, the change in net profit was positive, another factor is the ultra cheap labour that is available to this Chinese company through exploitation of Uyghur people.
Third factor is hype around EVs, once the hype around EVs die, the company would surely be feeling the heat, at the moment its profits are going up because this hype is resulting in the sale of two products that complement each other. Battery and EVs both share same base through battery and this kind of strategy is always helpful in raising profits of the seller because one product is targeted at one type of customer class, the other product is aimed at another customer class.
