Are you under the impression that once the cars are recalled, they are not given back. So the billions of dollars worth of recalls that Toyota or Honda etc. have done over the years, they never gave back the cars?! Why would they bother changing any parts under the recall of they are NOT giving back the cars?

Here is how the conversation would go down in your head:

BYD: “We are doing a recall to fix the problem”

Customer: “good. when can we get the car back”

BYD: “You misunderstand. we will fix the problem and keep the car” followed by evil bad guy laugh….🤣🤣🤣 🤦‍♂️

It might surprise you but, the cars are given back! They are not evil cartoon villain wannabes like you.

These are companies providing a service to their customers. BYD went above and beyond the scope of the problem and changed batteries for even those customers who’s cars were not directly effected. That is more than any other old car brand like Toyota has ever done. usually they just do the bare minimum required. BYD went the distance on this. That not only promotes good will with the customers but the company also deals with any potential future problem. The unfortunate issue BYD faced was that they had customers who instead of appreciating the quick and responsible action of the company started complaining for some reason. People much like you!

P.S. What else can one expect from the car maker that continues to offer cars that either look like Toyota Harrier or Honda Civic 10th generation or Tesla and uses cheap labour gotten through forcing Uyghurs into submission.
