What about the, on average, 1.5 – 2 BILLION DOLLAR spend by the local assemblers? Why is that HUGE number not a problem for the economy ever? The last government had to slow down the growth of the auto industry because of the practices of the local new car assemblers and Importers. NOT because of the USED car imports! Why are such practices by the local assemblers not ever bad for the economy and are quickly forgotten?

Someone put it best, we live in the “Post-Truth” era. Truth doesn’t matter. Its all about how well you can lie and how much of a voice you have or how much influence you have or can buy.

I definitely think k daal me kuch kala hai… MG has been targeted since the beginning of it’s arrival. Cargo Trucks that specifically carried MGs always tipping over mysteriously, Under invoicing case applied with such swift and precise actions and results, and now recently under invoicing case being resurrected again…

Something tells me that the rest of the “players” really don’t want MG to set up shop. 🤔

If others got their license comparatively quickly and MG is still waiting, that means daal main kuch kala hy.

Why such a long time to apply for the license in the first place and why the delay in getting it now that they have applied?

Is someone causing the delays for them or is MG just not bothered to follow up on it as aggressively as it should be?

They have yet to receive the license that allows them to assemble or manufacture these vehicles here since applying in September 2021. They can’t sell CKD cars because of this so selling CBU cars is all they can do.
