The “sales” is definitely “bookings” instead of “deliveries”. There was an article on CSPK about how sales figures should show “actual # of pieces handed over to customers this month” instead of the “bookings gained this month”. I can’t seem to find it, can anybody give the link?

The Pakistani Auto Industry and its players have been playing very, very low risk since the dawn of this assembling industry back in the 80s-90s. Almost every vehicle provided for sale is cheap and easy to assemble global/Indonesian models with little to no proper investment given to in this country. Barely any parts are manufactured locally, and if they are, they are essentially the worthless plastic bits that are being manufactured while the main parts of the car (running gear, suspension, electronics, chassis) are all imported. Even the decades old Bolan/Ravi is imported and produced in China for dirt cheap prices instead of being made locally. Even the vehicles we are offered are retired models whose parts/jigs are bought on a bargain and then sold to us as new. Nothing we have is special and worthy.

If things went really bad and sh*t really fit the fan, all they would do is simply pack up and leave, since there is already very little investment done by them to try and save by staying. They will cancel all the parts orders overseas, clear up whatever stock they have left and sell their factories to the state/another buying party, and gladly leave with all the money they have fleeced from us for all these years. There is nothing and no such law stopping them from doing so, so they will likely leave instead of staying and trying to fleece us more by investing some.

They will leave and forget that they were ever here at all. At least that’s my opinion. ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ˜’

The parts that "we cannot feel" are the most expensive ones. What about localization of those? This shortage is clearly exposing their lies. But what can be done; with the government completely asleep at the wheel and Content with their rates.๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ˜ก]]> The situation however, has badly exposed the high localization claims often made by local assemblers. Since even the most primitive & basic of vehicles out there, is completely dependent on imported parts & components.”

Golden Words!!! Need of the day. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
