Good point. Makes you wonder, are we incapable of doing this or are we being held back for some odd reason. With all the capabilities we already have, I think it is the latter.

This is the most thought provoking point I always see come through. We have a military that has the money and power to arm themselves to the teeth with the latest tech, weapons and vehicles, often times even holding the ability to manufacture and maintain them all in house with little to no outside dependability.

But at the same time, we have a commercial automobile sector that can barely assemble, forget manufacture a 40+ year old vehicle that has been selling here since it’s dawn.
