Agreed. In this day and age, this is just lazy. GWM should really give its design and marketing departments a swift kick in the rear for their own good.

Yeah, this is just unreal. The front image used for the supposed Tank 100 is just a badly photoshopped picture of this:

I hope to see an original design for the Tank 100 otherwise this is just straight up disappointing.

For once I have to agree that this is just coping the Jimny design. Chinese vehicles have reached the point in quality and design where such copies are not necessary. The Tank 400 is a good example. It might be a Fortuner rival but it has its own identity. They should have done that here.
People have reviewed the Tank 300 in Australia. The outlook is very positive and everyone agreed that the Tank 300 was a capable off roader. But the wrangler body design and the copy of the Ford bronco front could have been foregone.
Maybe the marketing and/or design team, in wanting to target markets where their rivals have had years to establish themselves, thought it would be better to give the consumer something familiar. Maybe that is good thinking but that will not set GWM’s own separate identity. They need to do that.

Other than that, the interiors that the Chinese brands are giving are awesome and very modern. I really like the look e.g., on the Tank 400.
