In reply to Khurram. Wah! What a logic! So according to you it is okay if Honda are copying Changan in this regard because apparently Changan copied from Lexus, so ultimately Honda is actually copying the design language of Lexus, NOT Changan!!! This is a whole another level of cope here!

interestingly, the trend of putting up large grills up front (that cover most of the front bumper) that we see today was started by Audi (first in 2005) and was then followed by others including Lexus.. though everyone has been playing up with the shape since then

in that way, Lexus spder grille looks like audi grill just the lower shape of audi is straight and lexus is not. otherwise its a copy 😉

I think that Changan’s butterfly grille looks similar to Lexus’s spider grille the only difference is that at lower end of bumper the Changan has spread the grille to create housing for the fog lamps. Anyways, since Chinese are heavily relying on the skills of German or Italian engineers therefore, Honda is eventually copying German or Italian and not the Chinese because Chinese are not creating the designs off their own mind, they are taking the work created by other people.
