Yes it’s best time to launch yaris face-lift as many people are waiting for it , atleast the top variant should come with more features like cruise control, led head lights, seat hight adjustment, better placement for arm rest and atleasst with side skirts if not complete body kit, I heard from many of my friends and other people also that they are not buying Yaris because these features are missing in the Yaris, I think company should seriously add these features atleast in the top variants to increase its sale

People are opting for Alsvin only because of its lesser price. Also it has better options than Yaris. Toyota shall reduce the cost otherwise people have few more options.

I agree bhai Usman Yaris's front looks are pathetic. However, I think Toyota Yaris not falling in under 1.3L engine is another reason for its falling sales. Tax rate for engine CC over 1.3 is very high as compared to under 1.3L. This tax cost being lower than competing cars was the core attraction of Corolla. I agree that looks and features helped Corollas sales and that is why Corolla 1.3L was offered in two separate variant, bare-bone Xli and feature-rich Gli. While Yaris Ativ is filling in the feature part, the Yaris Gli is not offering a filling for the gap left by demise of a large and yet tax friendly and rugged Corolla Xli. People are actually retaining their 9th and 10th generation 1.3L Corollas the Xli is still going strong even Xli automatic is doing well because they know that tax cost of 1.3L Corolla is lower than similar sized competitors. If I.M.C. truly wants to re-capture the customer base with Gli Yaris, it must re-evaluate in full what made the Corolla xli so successful. P.S. In my view, Alsvin is doing well among urban car buyers only because 50% of such buyers do not care about tax cost to size ratio.

The 2020 facelift in Thailand comes with what Wikipedia calls “LED dual lenses with integrated Daytime running lamps“. You can see it in the 5th photo above: https://carspiritpk.com/wp-content/uploads/Yaris-FL-Thai-e1647386561204.jpg Now this is called progress.

It is a modern tech (not the latest though, the latest thing is adaptive LED matrix beam). Basically this thing has the LED projector as the low beam and a separate LED projector as the high beam too.
In this sense it is superior to current 11th gen Altis and Civic X (lower trims) being sold in Pakistan, which have an LED projector low beam but a conventional halogen reflector high beam.

The number one reason people go for poorly fitted HID upgrades is that the stock lights provide poor illumination of the road ahead. The main solution is to fit proper headlights from the factory to end the social menace of high beams and overbright bulbs.

Headlight is the first ever safety feature in history. It is important for us to keep abreast of new technologies, the older technologies are a cause of great social disorder.

Changan has offered by far the best value for money car in this segment. We have yet to see someone else top them in this regard, perhaps we can expect Kia Lucky to launch Pegas?

This segment of cars needs attention from the automakers it sits between the price range. Many people prefer “diggi wali gadi” with good economy. Changan kind of got the better of honda and Toyota in this segment.
Still a few more automakers needs to introduce their models here.

this Yaris (Ativ) has went through 3 iterations (pre-facelift, facelift and 2nd mmc), the one in Thailand is 2nd mmc whereas we have the pre-facelift… but considering the XP150 chassis, its still the 3rd gen model
