Toyota IMC, Pak Suzuki, Atlas Honda. ALL pay royalties. You still pay royalties on over 40 years old Boloo and Ravina which turns out might NOT even be true Suzuki products at all!

PSO
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pakistan_State_Oil#:~:text=It%20is%20involved%20in%20import,%2C%20LPG%2C%20CNG%20and%20petrochemicals.
It is involved in import, storage, distribution and marketing of a range of petroleum products including gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, jet fuel, LPG, CNG and petrochemicals.”

https://psopk.com/en/our-group/what-we-do
PSO imports tons of Motor Gasoline, HSD, JP1, and Furnace Oil.”

The last one is right from the horse’s mouth. I.e., PSO itself says this.

My point, with such illiterate people is abundance the unfairness cannot just vanish into thin air, it would stay until people try changing. It really is ironic and hurting that Pakistanis are still failing to realise that the government is reflecting their incompetence, illogical and unjust actions and unless they confine themselves from playing blame game, the country is going to go down further. “

Couldn’t agree more Khurram! You summed up yourself and your actions/words quite nicely here. 👍

Secondly buddy, you keep on contradicting your own conspiracies. In the very next comment below you are again saying “for too long Pakistanis have been living unsustainably as compared to rest of the world and therefore now must pay a higher price”. But you JUST said “Those who believe in Allah, act duly and remain on righteousness are affording them because such people are making around PKR 10million to even 20million a month”.

Are all those who can buy these are “sinners” who are living above their station in life or are they all pious Muslims; their ability to buy such overpriced vehicles testament to their piety?

Which is it? 🤷‍♂️

All that smoking Seems to be affecting you very badly. Your rational thought process seem to be severely impaired. Your arguments are going up in smoke…

Those who believe in Allah, act duly and remain on righteousness are affording them because such people are making around PKR 10million to even 20million a month, courtesy of their mindful actions and which you and certain other Pakistani commentators lack, and for them buying a Corolla or Hilux is like a common man buying a cigarette.
I have said cigarette because it is a luxury, but so-called poor people are continuing to buy it, if Pakistanis really are poor as they are making themselves out, they should stop smoking their and society’s lungs black.

Secondly, Pakistan is feeling more heat because for too long Pakistanis have been living unsustainably as compared to rest of the world and therefore now must pay a higher price.
Anyways, today is 6th September and sadly, Pakistanis are blowing whistles today as a remembrance of 6th September. They should rather mimic actions that were taken by people in those days. It was the day when people would not eat Indian-based products, now, we have people who are not only preferring foreign brands over local products but are idiotically putting them in the same league as a home-grown product from a home-grown brand. I remember some illiterate commentator arguing against P.S.O. claiming that it is relying on imports, the uneducated person did not realise that foreign brand must pay royalty for using foreign brand’s name.
In all this, the media should be acting responsibly, which it is not doing now. One example of this is mentioned in the article. It is fuel adjustment.
Technically it is not excessive because it is a responsive tactic adopted in response to peoples’ attitude. Who is going to be paying for the thieves of electricity? Who is going to be paying for streetlights? Not the producer of electricity, the public, the user must pay for that or try and avoid being part of thieving. Therefore, unless the smelly sneak thieves stop from pilfering electricity and becoming its facilitator, the menace of fuel adjustment cannot go out of equation.
