It is a little bit concerning that most markets are still getting old tech engines with the 12th gen Corolla even after 3 years.

Question for our “manufacturers”; when will they launch the pre-facelift version of this car here? Or are you still waiting for the jigs and fixtures for this car to be sold at a discount price in Thailand/Indonesia once it gets discontinued?

And then after they finally launch this five years later, they will launch the facelift version with a CVT gearbox 10 years later as a “new” model with a “new” feature?

not too strange, we already have a living example here who justifies 15 lakhs for Bolan just because it has a radio, and according to such people those who are buying 10 years old 60 lakhs Corolla are poor needy people living within their means, so for them its all justified and they don’t feel like cheated. but who cares even if they were cheated? toyota imc will just bow down and fanboys will begin worshiping them again

…And in Pakistan we get a bog standard ten year old corolla 11th gen for almost 60 lacs and that too with the bare minimum of features.

My question is to all the corolla fans out there. Resale ke goli aside; Don’t you guys feel cheated?
