In case of cross when it got beaten badly by competitors they decease price in million on name of “limited time offer” and claimed they have achieved 70% localization of parts. Why couldn’t they decided same for corolla and planned in years

no, it will be available in global markets from mid 2025 marketed as a 2026 model vehicle. the point is, these things are not decided overnight, the planning is done years ahead regarding the model change/ introduction.. if they wanted to bring the updated one to Pakistan they could have planned for a June/July 2025 debut with the facelifted model instead of the Feb 2025 introduction of pre-facelift. The priorities are clear as they are saving big on the molds & jigs from four years ago..

The facelift has not been released anywhere internationally. It is only launched in South Korea for now. They will start to launch it in different market by the mid of 2025.

Customers also need to be “trained” to expect and adapt themselves to changes, otherwise they grow too comfortable operating. maintaining, using, repairing – and complaining about – the same thing with resistance to change building up over the generations.

About the facelift: Facelifts also come with correction to mechanical/electrical/electronic errata, updated softwares for the engine, EPS, gearbox, infotainment and other controllers. Not bringing the facelift just means that this nation remains deprived of the technological, power, fuel efficiency, driveability, comfort and safety improvements the facelift will enable for buyers in other countries. This shows the utter contempt (حقارت) in which these companies and their foreign partners hold the Pakistan customer in. After all it isn’t a bargain basement value-class product, upper middle class people pay a lot for these products just to get insulted (توہین) in return.

Ultimately, its about doing what is best for the bottom-line that matters with these companies.
