The various “launches” of vaporware in the last few decades have not serve the purpose of easy accesible, cheap, fast and safe road transport for the public.
A few weeks ago Proton X70 and upcoming Saga also received “overwhelming response”. Changan Alsvin also received overwhelming response.

By now anything will receive “overwhelming response” because the nation is starved and supply isn’t meeting demand so the vacuum is all time high.

Instead of “launch”, “overwhelming response”, “bookings”, “pre-bookings” and other empty words, it would be good if companies came up with other useful facts and figures such as how many units have been actually fitted with a number plate.
