General unawareness of it’s engine technology and the care it required was also proven to be the downfall of this engine globally and in Pakistan. They would buy this car thanks to it’s cheap tax rate, hoon the absolute crap out of it and when push came to shove (aka, the car would spit out it’s apex seals thru the exhaust), they would just manage to replace the whole engine with a kabli 3SGE Beams or 2JZ and then call it a day. You can see many of these examples still running in Pakistan.
