We have seen many results from this stylization, some which were received alright but some which flopped terribly; New Volkswagen Beetle, Mini Cooper, Plymouth Prowler, Chrysler PT Cruiser, Ford Thunderbird, etc. There is a good way to mimic classic era styling on newer cars and a bad way. It is hard to find that balance between classic styling and modern era design in a car like this, that is why many car manufacturers try not to take such a risk to make a classic styled car.
