Land Cruiser 70-series has always been available in a pickup model. It is commonly seen in National Geographic and Discovery channel documentaries related to Africa. In Pakistan, Pak Army and Navy have a number of them with hoods and seats to basically use as troop carriers. Some construction companies also have it.
At one time Indus also used to offer CBU Land Cruiser pickup model for private buyers, it cost 70 lacs as compared to 132 lacs of Prado at that time. I saw one example at Kh-e-Ittehad in white color decked with winch and other upgrades.

Many of them can be frequently seen in the Middle East. There are both varieties available: single-door and double-door. It is available in Australia too. The pickup model is only available in LWB and the chassis code is J79.

If you search “Land Cruiser pickup model” on the net you even see examples of 40-series!

If you want, just change the article without approving this comment. Maybe you mean that LC 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 200, 250 and 300 were never offered in pickup shape then please just change the wording a little to signify it before this article gets quoted internationally.
