Some things in the Pakistani assembler market just don’t make sense. They will go thru the trouble of converting Euro 5/6 engines back to Euro 2 and adding in manual box options in CVT vehicles when CVTs are arguably much much cheaper. It’s ridiculous! Someone needs to take a deep dive into why they do their dirty business this way and what’s the reason for all of this?

Thanks for the share. They did display them on the second day.

You also have to keep in mind that Pak Suzuki will always import the cheapest options. The Suzuki alto VXL which is the top of the line model here is the lowest option in the Japanese market. The VXR and VX done even exist.

Similarly, if and when they do bring in these new models, they will again opt for the most basic options they can get their hands on and then proceed to charge a premium price for them. That is just the way these guys are used to doing business here. So get ready for some very ugly company modifications to convert these cars to manual if they decide to bring in the (forced) manual versions. 🤮

They’ve displayed the Ertiga (and 2nd gen Hustler) on the 2nd day of the show 30 Jul 2022 https://www.pakwheels.com/blog/paps-2022-suzuki-unveils-2-more-cars-at-event/

But the Hustler looks like it is a low-grade model. It has crystal headlight, all the Hustlers on the road can be seen with projection lights and also on its specific website https://www.suzuki.co.jp/car/hustler/.
Mind you the 2nd gen Hustler has no manual option or conventional autobox option. Just like the 9th gen Alto, it comes with only one option: CVT.

You’d wonder when they imported these and how nobody got an inkling.

I hope that the P.S. continues offering the Bolan along the side because it still remains popular among small individual business owners with low buying power.

Agreed!

That is why the Ertiga makes more sense. Being cheaper, there might be some chance that a more tech loaded model can be imported to Pakistan. It will be better then this ugly thing. And it will be Suzuki so die hard fanboys should be happier with that too.

Good! Nice to see something ancient get replaced with something new. Let’s hope it’s priced affordable and let’s hope that PakSuzuki just doesn’t blunder this like the Mega Carry.

I can already hear a very specific Ulema and Oxford certified individual crying in the distance. 🥴🤪

Look at that hideous blank plate in place of an audio player. This will likely be launched at upwards of 50 lacs for sure 🙄 and someone will justify paying that much amount just to sit inside and see nothing but a bunch of blank cheap plastic 🙃

cross-checked with my sources and it was AGS, though sources say they might launch manual as well as AGS whenever they plan to…. article has been updated with correction
